Ways to Give

Cash

Cash gifts can be made outright or pledged over time, by check, cash or credit card.

Time

Giving of your time is greatly appreciated at Pullman Regional Hospital. If you enjoy working with people, learn how you can volunteer (link to Volunteer page) at Pullman Regional Hospital and provide a valuable service to the community.

In Kind Contributions

Non-cash gifts, which can include equipment or patient-comfort items, are accepted and can be claimed as a charitable contribution. Please contact the Foundation office to make sure your items are needed.

Appreciated Assets

Long-term investments or appreciated assets can include stocks, bonds, mutual funds, or real estate that the donor has held for more than one year. Please contact the Foundation if you are interested in making such a gift at 509.336.7390.

Planned Gift

Planned gifts include bequests, life insurance policies and IRA retirement accounts. The donor can specify that the planned gift be applied to the Endowment for Excellence. Income from the Endowment is available to support long-term needs of the hospital. Undesignated planned gifts will be directed to the Fund For Continuing Excellence, which supports the hospital's greatest short-term needs.

Those who inform the Foundation of their intention to make a planned gift become members of the Dissmore Legacy Society and receive two free tickets to that year's Foundation Gala. To learn more about the annual Foundation Gala, click here.

Charitable Bequest

Bequests by will are the most common planned gifts. Including the Foundation in your estate plan makes it possible to leave a lasting gift to the Endowment for Excellence which will benefit the hospital in perpetuity and provide a philanthropic legacy for your family. This also can reduce taxes and increase control over your assets while supporting the future of Pullman Regional Hospital.

When reviewing your estate, naming Pullman Regional Hospital Foundation as a beneficiary is easy. A donor can make a specific dollar bequest or give a percentage of an estate. Suggested language includes:

I give:

  • the sum of $_____________ or
  • _________% of my estate
  • personal property described as ___________
  • all the rest, residue and remainder of my estate to Pullman Regional Hospital Foundation.

The Foundation encourages you to consult with your attorney when planning your estate. Contact the Foundation office at 509-336-7390 with questions.
