Mesothelioma
Mesothelioma Web
Mesothelioma, a rare cancer of the lining of the lung, is caused by exposure to asbestos. At some point in our lives, nearly all of us have been exposed to asbestos in the air we breathe and the water we drink; from natural deposits in the earth, and from the deterioration of asbestos products around us. An exposure of as little as one or two months can result in mesothelioma 30 or 40 years later. Mesotheliomaweb.org provides useful information on the health risks associated with mesothelioma and resources for those who have been diagnosed with this illness.
