Pullman Regional Hospital Capital Campaign Awarded $200,000 challenge grant from Murdock Charitable Trust

PULLMAN -- The Pullman Regional Hospital Foundation has been awarded a $200,000 challenge grant from the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust of Vancouver, Washington, to assist with construction of the new Pullman Regional Hospital. Murdock funds will be available when the Foundation raises $3.8 million in gifts and pledges. To date $3.4 million has been received. An additional $550,000 must be received in gifts and five year pledgest.

“The Murdock grant is an important impetus for future giving by the community and for securing additional charitable dollars,” said Megan Guido, executive director of the Pullman Hospital Foundation. “The grant was peer reviewed by hospital directors and experts in the medical and healthcare fields around the country and shows strong support and endorsement for the new hospital by a renowned charitable trust.”
