Regional Hospital Capital Campaign Awarded $200,000
challenge grant from Murdock Charitable Trust
PULLMAN
-- The Pullman
Regional Hospital Foundation has been awarded a $200,000
challenge grant from the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust
of Vancouver, Washington, to assist with construction
of the new Pullman Regional Hospital. Murdock funds
will be available when the Foundation raises $3.8 million
in gifts and pledges. To date $3.4 million has been
received. An additional $550,000 must be received
in gifts and five year pledgest.
“The Murdock grant is an important impetus for
future giving by the community and for securing additional
charitable dollars,” said Megan Guido, executive
director of the Pullman Hospital Foundation. “The
grant was peer reviewed by hospital directors and experts
in the medical and healthcare fields around the country
and shows strong support and endorsement for the new
hospital by a renowned charitable trust.”
