The Pullman Regional Hospital Foundation has reached its $3.8 million mark needed to receive a top-off grant awarded by the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust last year.
“We have notified the Murdock Trust in Portland that the hospital Foundation has met the terms to receive the remaining $200,000 grant,” said Megan Guido, executive director of Pullman Regional Hospital Foundation.
“Through the generosity and support of the community, businesses and volunteers, we’ve succeeded in raising the amount the Foundation committed to help fund a portion of the overall construction of the new hospital,” she said. “We are grateful for all our donors and Murdock’s trust in the hospital and belief in this project.”
The Circle of Friends donor wall, which will recognize all donors to the campaign who gave $1,000 or more, will be unveiled in the fall.
Strategic plans are in place for continued fundraising efforts by the Foundation to meet the future expectations for the latest technology and care in healthcare on the Palouse. These include planned giving, an annual campaign, major gifts and special events.
