Pullman Regional Hospital has received full accreditation by JCAHO
PULLMAN, WA—Pullman Regional Hospital has received full accreditation from The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. Accreditation by the Joint Commission is a nationwide seal of approval that indicates a hospital meets high performance standards in patient care.
Accreditation status is awarded to a health care organization that is in compliance with all standards at the time of the on-site survey or has successfully addressed requirements for improvement within 90 days following the survey.
In addition to participating in the JCAHO accreditation survey, Pullman Regional Hospital is participating in the National Patient Safety Goals and the 100,000 Lives Campaign by the Institute for Healthcare Improvement. Both are national initiatives which set standards in patient care and implement changes proven to improve patient care and save lives.
Pullman Regional Hospital is a 25 bed critical access hospital serving the Palouse region with a full complement of medical services, including a 24 hour Intensive Care Unit, Emergency and Urgent Care Center, BirthPlace and fully-digital Imaging Services.
