Registered Nurse - House Supervisor
Full-time night position and Part-time day position. The House Supervisor is responsible for coordinating the activities of patient care throughout the hospital. Assigns Med/Surg and BirthPlace staff based on patient acuity and volumes. Provides additional administrative support in the absence of department managers hospital-wide. Communicates and applies policies, practices, procedures, objectives, and goals to exceed the patients and families expectations. Qualified candidates should have three or more years of diversified acute care experience. Prefer previous experience in critical care setting and supervisory or management experience.

Registered Nurse - BirthPlace
Full-time and Part-time positions. The BirthPlace allows RN's to provide care to the entire family. The BirthPlace has 8 LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Post Partum) suites with private whirlpool tubs, daddy beds, and internet connections. We are seeking RN's to do the full spectrum of care within the BirthPlace and preferably have current Neonatal Resuscitation, Electronic Fetal Monitoring, Amniotomy, Scalp Electrode and Intrauterine Pressure Catheter maintenance certifications. We prefer one or more years of obstetrical experience to include labor and delivery, post-partum and newborn nursery.

Registered Nurse - Same Day Services
Supplemental position. This position is responsible for providing optimal patient care for patients in our Same Day Services department. Qualified candidates will be RN's who have ACLS/PALS and two or more years of acute care nursing experience and/or one or more years of ICU nursing experience. Knowledge and/or experience in the care of perioperative, procedural sedation, gastroenterology, and outpatient services is preferred.

Ultrasound Technologist
Full-time evening position plus call. Provides ultrasound services using Acuson Sequoia's in a fully digital imaging department. Performs imaging procedures in abdominal, OB/Gyn, and small parts. Previous vascular experience is preferred. Qualified candidates will exercise professional judgment in the performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to professional ethics as defined by the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers. Specialty certification by ARDMS is required.

Medical Technologist
Full-time night position. This position is responsible for assays samples of body fluids and substances. Adhere to all compliance and blood borne pathogen regulations. Works in the following departments of the laboratory: chemistry, immunohematology, bacteriology, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, serology and phlebotomy. Qualified candidates must have graduated form a college or university in Medical Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related science field with one year internship in Medical Technology at an accredited laboratory. Must be MT (ASCP) registered or NCA (CLS) certified with six months of hire.

Registered Dietitian
Part-time position. Candidates for this position are responsible for assessing, recommending, and implementing strategies for nutritional care for inpatients and outpatients. Candidates must have completed an accredited program approved by the American Dietetic Association and subsequent successful completion of the exam to obtain registered dietitian status and have at least six months of clinical dietitian experience. Must be a Registered Dietitian with the American Dietetic Association.

Athletic Trainer Certified
Part-time position. This part-time position will be responsible for covering the athletic training contract with a local school district. This will include both after school hours and game coverage. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's of Science in Athletic Training and they must have and maintain current BLS certification.

Medical Records Clerk
Full-time day position. Update/scans patient medical records, answers telephones, assists with medical office requests, and other customers regarding patient information. Qualified candidates must have the ability to multi-task and to work with all types of customers. Prefer either graduation from a medical secretary program or comparable clerical experience.

Operating Room Aide
Supplemental position. Assist the Operating Room staff with the clean-up and preparation of the surgical suites. Maintains knowledge about the general flow and anticipates needs of the staff and assist the staff in the efficient functioning of the department. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent or three years of similar healthcare experience may be substituted for education. BLS within three months or hire.

Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical Unit
Supplemental (prn) positions. The Med/Surg Unit is an active and progressive unit that provides care to a wide range of patient populations. We are looking for self-motivated individuals who are willing to work as a team member of the Med/Surg Unit to meet the challenges of acute care nursing on the Palouse. Qualified candidates are RN's who have two or more years of acute care nursing experience. Current certifications in ACLS and PALS (or equivalent) are highly recommended.

Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit
Supplemental (prn) positions. We are looking for self-motivated individuals who are willing to work with us as a team member to meet the challenges of critical care nursing on the Palouse. Qualified candidates are RN's who have two or more years of critical care nursing experience and have completed ACLS and PALS (or equivalent). CCRN certification is preferred.

Registered Nurse - Emergency Department
Supplemental (prn) positions. The Emergency Department (ED) is a Trauma Level III unit with approximately 8,000 visits per year. The department is also staffed with five Board Certified Emergency Physician. We are looking for RN's who have three or more years of acute care nursing experience and have completed ACLS, TNCC, and PALS (or equivalent). One or more years of critical care experience and CEN or CCRN certification is preferred.

Registered Nurse/Operating Room Tech - Surgery
Supplemental (prn) positions. The Surgery Department provides a wide range of surgical services to our community including - general surgery, OB/Gyn, orthopedics, ENT, ophthalmology, and urology. Qualified candidates are either RN's or Surgical Technicians. RN's must be licensed in the State of Washington, ACLS and/or CNOR are highly recommended. Two or more years of nursing experience and operating room experience are preferred. Surgical Technicians must have a previous training and/or experience as a Surgical Technologist. Prefer certification as a Surgical Technician.
