Volunteers
The benefits of giving your time to help others include a greater understanding of yourself, the development of life long friends and an appreciation of good health.
In addition to personal benefits volunteer hours can be used for school credit, real world work experience and the opportunity to meet new people. Pullman Regional Hospital offers a variety of different volunteer activities to fit your individual personality and availability.
WSU
Student Volunteers: Pullman Regional Hospital assists
WSU students in getting experience in fields related to their
chosen careers. Volunteer opportunities exist for pre-med,
pre-pharmacy, pre-nursing and pre-physical therapy students.
These experiences provide students with the unique feature
of real experience. Pre-op Escorts: Community volunteers are
a vital part of Pullman Regional Hospital.
Chaplains: The Volunteer Chaplaincy Program at Pullman Regional Hospital provides patients, family members, and hospital staff with positive spiritual care as an integral part of the health care team.
Gift Shop: Gift shop volunteers keep the gift shop running so hospital visitors can purchase gifts and cards for patients and staff.
